The fabric on the top of this quilt is a form of dying where they take leaves; lay them on the fabric and with chemicals and the sun the leaf shapes are transferred onto the fabric.  I loved the way the patterning came out giving you the same layered effect that’s achieved on the forest floor.  It’s like sleeping under a carpet of leaves.  The backing is a newer fabric called minkee which is polyester that feels even more plush than velvet but is washable.  It feels very luxurious and is nice and warm.

The quilting is an edge-to-edge pattern of various kinds of leaves, quite fitting with the top of the quilt.

Price includes a bag for storing the quilt in.
