Plum Blossom Quilt

This quilt was inspired by a stack of Oriental fabrics given to me by a friend. I found a pattern that could incorporate all of them plus some that I had in my stash. When I looked at my quilting patterns, I found one called “Plum Blossom” that was adapted from a Japanese Sashiko quilting design. It went perfectly with the oriental prints. I did the quilting with gold thread so it stands out really nicely. The backing fabric has Japanese thread-covered balls so the oriental theme was carried out on the backing also.

Quilt has two hanging sleeves, one on the top for hanging and one on the bottom for a weighted rod to keep the quilt hanging straight. Price includes both rods and a bag for storing the quilt in.
