This quilt is an old curved piecing pattern which—because of the curved seams—is not for beginners. The blue and peach batik fabrics are a wonderful complement to the printed floral. The colors of this quilt reflect the vibrancy of Summer.

If you look carefully you can see the secondary design of larger circles of the lighter color and the printed floral, which recedes and advances.
